On Saturday 28 February, after 15 hours., In the Cultural Area Our Children (ECuNHi - Ex ESMA), there will be a day dedicated to the Carnival . There will be carnival Candombe, sikuris, Murga Buenos Aires, documentaries and a panel discussion about the carnival and the African presence in our culture.

15 hours. Afro-Uruguayan Candombe open call
Under the motto The drums are not silent, we are calling for dancers, drummers and drummers who want to participate in that string of Candombe in the opening ceremony. All that is required is to bring candombe drum (only candombe) and those who touch, white shirts, have basic notions of genre and have desire and commitment for collective construction.
